Beta Marine manufacture marine generating sets to our customer’s specific requirements, and this can include Classification Society requirements: Lloyds Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas, Germanisher Lloyd, ABS etc.

Beta Marine was established in 1987 by personnel who have a wealth of experience in marine and diesel engineering. We have, amongst others, manufactured marine auxiliary generating sets powered by: Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, Volvo, Scania, and MTU marine diesel engines with heat exchanger or keel or radiator cooling, coupled to “Stamford” or Mecc Alte marine rated alternators.

Beta Marine has gained considerable experience in building: Main Auxiliary; Emergency and Harbour Generating Sets for different applications: passenger ferries, cargo boats, fast patrol boats, gas carriers, fishing trawlers, tugs and “super yachts”. This knowledge has been used in the development of these generating sets from 30kVA up to 1,000kVA. We also supply generating sets in acoustic housings designed to customer specifications.
