SPECIFICATION FEATURES:
- Marine auxiliary diesel generator engines manufactured by well known and regarded makers like Scania, MTU, Volvo, Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, etc.
- Heat exchanger cooling complete, or arranged for keel cooling, or radiator cooling for emergency / harbour sets.
Water cooled / guarded exhaust manifolds. - Lubricating oil coolers as applicable. Lubricating oil filters and lubricating oil sump drain pump. Various options to meet the application.
- Duplex changeover fuel filters and Flexible fuel connections for inlet and return, fire retardant and ‘type’ approved may be offered.
- Exhaust elbow and flanged flexible bellows section, or ‘wet’ water injection exhaust outlets.
- Starting using 12 or 24 Volt electrical system, or air motor. Options of dual starting on some models using electrical, air, manual or hydraulic systems.
- Combined start, alarm, protection, monitoring panels, either set mounted or supplied loose for bulkhead mounting. Possibility for signal outputs to ship system.
- Marine type generator manufactured to meet ambient
conditions of service and class with terminal box and automatic voltage regulator. Many options are available; Mecc Alte, Cummins ‘Stamford’, Leroy-Somer, etc. - Speed governor for single (stand alone) or parallel running to ISO and class requirements.
- Dry type air inlet filters.
- Engine and generator are usually coupled together and mounted on a welded steel base plate.
- Marine failsafe anti-vibration mountings to isolate the set from the ships seating.
- Combined full load works tests.
- Fully classifiable specifications are available for survey.
- Every set can be tailored to suit customer and application.
